03/02/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 27 February in Brussels, the European Commission will be organising a stakeholders’ meeting on a multilateral reform of investment dispute resolution, including the suggestion mooted in December 2016 by the EU and Canada to possibly create a multilateral investment court (see EUROPE 11390, 11687). Meeting participants will include Trade Commissioner, Cecilia Malmström, who promoted this proposal during the World Economic Forum in Davos, last January (see EUROPE 11707); Colin Brown, Deputy Head of Unit; Dispute Settlement and Legal Aspects of Trade Policy and Denis Redonnet, Director; WTO, Legal Affairs & Trade in Goods.
