With the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Treaty of Rome at the end of March in sight, the heads of state or government will take stock, on Friday 3 February, of the work completed since the informal summit of Bratislava (see EUROPE 11626) and reflect on the outlines and priorities of a Europe without the United Kingdom, in an internal and external political context increasingly marked by uncertainty.
