EU says Kuwait should return to its previous de facto moratorium on death penalty

26/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – With Kuwait returning to executions for the first time since 2013, the spokesperson for the European External Action Service (EEAS) said on Wednesday 25 January that the EU hoped the country would return to its previous de facto moratorium on the death penalty.  Earlier in the day, it had been confirmed that four men and three women, convicted for different criminal offences, had been executed in Kuwait's central prison.  The EEAS spokesperson said that...
