S&D Group to launch manifesto on tackling energy poverty in Ghent

Drawing on the example of the Dampoort knaptT OP pilot project in Ghent which renovates houses for low-income households, the Socialist & Democrats (S&D) Group will launch its manifesto on fighting fuel poverty on Monday 30 January.

An S&D delegation, led by group deputy leader Kathleen Van Brempt (Belgium) and including Dan Nica (Romania), Theresa Griffin (UK) and Soledad Cabezon Ruiz (Spain) will visit the Dampoort knaptT OP pilot project and talk to some of the families who have already...
