Proposal to earmark EGF for Comunidad Valenciana

08/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 8 November, the European Commission proposed to provide €856,800 from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) in support of 250 former car workers in Spain.  The 250 workers were made redundant by 29 companies operating in the automotive sector in Comunidad Valenciana. The total estimated cost of the support package is approximately €1.4 million.  The proposal to contribute to it with EGF funds has been sent to the European...
