MEPs to meet Spanish and Portuguese finance ministers to discuss freezing of ESI funding

07/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – MEPs will meet Portuguese Finance Minister Mario Centeno and Spanish Competitiveness and Economy Minister Luis de Guindos on Tuesday 8 November to discuss the possible freezing of the two states’ 2017 structural and investment (ESI) funding (see EUROPE 11633).  The meeting between the ministers and the regional development (REGI) and economic and monetary affairs (ECON) committees is part of the structured dialogue provided for in Regulation 1303/2013. ...
