After a meeting of trade ministers of more than 20 WTO countries in Oslo, Norway, on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October, WTO director general Roberto Azevêdo welcomed the participating ministers’ call to build on the momentum of the successful WTO ministerial conferences in Bali in 2013 and Nairobi in 2015 to obtain tangible results from the conference in Buenos Aires at the end of 2017.
