CEF's third call for proposals worth €1.9 billion

13/10/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 13 October, the European Commission announced the launch of the third call for proposals as part of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), which will involve a total envelope of €1.9 billion. The aim is to finance projects in the transport sector. The 15 member states eligible for cohesion funding are those whose Gross National Income (GNI) is below 90% of the EU average and they have received around €1.1 billion.
