Council of EU adopts section of report on human rights in different countries 

21/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 20 September, the Council adopted the "Country and regional issues" part of the annual EU report on human rights and democracy in the world in 2015. This part completes the thematic part of the report adopted by the ministers for foreign affairs on 20 June 2016  (see EUROPE 11576). The "Country and regional issues" section of the report is 300 pages long and gives a brief insight into the human rights situation in each of the countries covered. ...
