Green light to EU Solidarity Fund for Ionian Islands

20/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 20 September the Council of the EU adopted, without debate, the decision to provide Greece with financial assistance worth €1.65 million, following the earthquake in the Ionian Islands in November 2015. The assistance will come from the EU Solidarity Fund (see EUROPE 11577).  (LC)
