Council approves new rules on secretariat of OLAF Supervisory Committee

20/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 20 September, the Council of the EU adopted, unanimously and without debate, the regulation on the secretariat of the Supervisory Committee of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). Under the new regulation (the text was successfully negotiated between the Council and the European Parliament), the secretariat of the Supervisory Committee will now be provided by the Commission rather than by OLAF (see EUROPE 11572).
