Demonstrations in Belgian and German streets against CETA and TTIP

19/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – Between 160,000 and 320,000 demonstrators marched in seven German cities  - Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne, Stuttgart and Leipzig – on Saturday 17 September in protest at the EU-Canada free trade deal (CETA) and the plans for an EU-United States free trade deal (TTIP).  According to an Ipsos poll, 52% of Germans feel that free trade weakens social standards and allows the import of products that are damaging to health.  Between 10,000 and...
