In a resolution on the EU's heating/cooling strategy, adopted by 550 votes in favour, with 66 against and 87 abstentions, during the plenary session in Strasbourg on Tuesday 13 September, the European Parliament called for the modernisation of the heating and cooling system in Europe to be based on sustainable and profitable solutions, the diversification of heating resources and building renovation and insulation.
