Klaus-Heiner Lehne new ECA President

13/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 September, the 28 members of the European Court of Auditors (ECA) decided to elect Klaus-Heiner Lehne (a German national and former MEP) to the post of President of ECA for a three-year renewable mandate.  Lehne will become the 11th president of ECA on 1 October and will replace Vítor Caldeira, who has held the post since 2008. As part of the consultation in the Court's appointment procedure, the European Parliament rejected the nomination of...
