23/06/2016 (Agence Europe) - EU calls on North Korea to abide by its obligations. On Wednesday 22 June, the Spokesperson for the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, called on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to abide by all its obligations and halt all launches using ballistic missile technology, despite the fact that North Korea fired two missiles earlier in the day. The spokesperson explained "Missile launches using ballistic missile technology by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) constitute a clear violation of its international obligations under several UN Security Council Resolutions, including the latest one adopted on 2 March".
