25/05/2016 (Agence Europe) - European Council preparations: Czech Republic mentions agricultural crisis. During the General Affairs Council Tuesday 24 May in Brussels, the Czech minister, Lubomir Zaorálek, referred to the crisis gripping the agricultural markets, particularly the milk and milk products markets. The Czech Republic mentioned the agricultural crisis in the context of the preparations for the forthcoming European Council (28-29 June). The Czech Minister has called on the European Commission to attempt to identify an effective solution and said that this crisis meant that the Commission had to pay close attention at the most senior political level.
