European Parliament calls for better protection for domestic servants

Brussels, 29/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - MEPs are calling for greater recognition of domestic and care work by the EU. In a non-legislative resolution passed on Thursday 28 April, they call for a directive on time off work for carers and recognition of the legal status of work as a non-professional carer or childminder.
