Brussels, 21/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - The authorities of the member states can carry out a prospective assessment of the financial resources of a third country national legally residing in the EU when the latter wants to exercise their right of family regroupment for citizens living outside the EU. This assessment is made to verify that these resources are sufficiently "stable and regular", so as not to require social assistance.
