Brussels, 10/03/2016 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 10 March, the European Commission conditionally authorised the planned acquisition of the generic medicines activities of the Irish company Allergan by the Israeli company Teva.
The companies in question are two of the four largest producers of generic medicines in the world. The decision is conditional on the shedding of a number of assets, including the vast majority of Allergan Generics' activities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
