Brussels, 12/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - Seasonally-adjusted GDP rose by 0.3% in the fourth quarter of 2015 in both the eurozone and the EU28 compared with the third quarter of 2015, according to a study released by the EU's statistical office, Eurostat, on Friday 12 February.
In the last three months of 2015, wealth creation was strongest in Estonia (+1.2%), Poland and Romania (both +1.1%), Hungary and Slovakia (both +1.0%). GDP grew only slightly in Germany (+0.3%), France (+0.2%) and Italy (+0.1%). GDP fell in Greece (-0.6%) and Finland (-0.1%).
Quarterly information was not available for Denmark, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovenia and Sweden. (Original version in French by Mathieu Bion)
