The Council definitively adopted three proposals for regulations on Friday 12 February to improve the safety of products, such as protective clothing (life jackets, bicycle helmets, and sun glasses, for instance), gas appliances (gas cookers, boilers, etc.) and cable infrastructure (for example, funiculars and cable cars) (see EUROPE 11472).
