MEPs hope that Council will retain level of ambition of Commission's tax package

Brussels, 02/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - The eyes of the members of the European Parliament are now riveted on the Council of European finance ministers, who now have the Commission's package on measures to fight tax avoidance on their table. Several MEPs also criticised the absence of the Dutch Presidency of the Council from the plenary debate with the Commissioner for Taxation, Pierre Moscovici, in Strasbourg on Tuesday 2 February.
