Takeover of Vivendi Universal Publishing's assets by Wendel is definitively approved

Brussels, 28/01/2016 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 28 January, the Court of Justice of the EU upheld the decision of the European Commission authorising Lagardère to transfer some of the assets of Vivendi Universal Publishing (VUP) to Wendel, to the detriment of Odile Jacob, thereby putting an end to a case which started in 2004 in the book publishing sector in France.
