Brussels, 22/01/2016 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 21 January, the left-wing Portuguese government unveiled a draft budget forecasting a fall in the deficit from 3% of GDP in 2015 to 2.6% in 2016.
Banking on an increase in domestic demand, Portugal's draft budget is based on ambitious growth forecasts of 2.1% of GDP, although the European Commission in November forecast that growth would increase by 1.7%.
