11/01/2016 (Agence Europe) - EU condemns attack on MSF centre. On Sunday 10 January, the EU condemned the attack carried out that same day on an MSF centre in Razeh district, northern Yemen. This attack “which resulted in several casualties and many wounded today is unacceptable. Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and colleagues of those affected at this time”, said EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Commissioner Christos Stylianides in a joint press release. Pointing out that “such attacks that target humanitarian operations and civilians are clearly prohibited under International Humanitarian Law”, they urge all parties to “engage without preconditions and in good faith in another round of UN-facilitated negotiations in January 2016” to find a political solution to the conflict.
