Commission proposes right to intervene on external borders, but stresses that sovereignty of member states will be upheld

Brussels, 15/12/2015 (Agence Europe) - In order to step up the measures to prevent crises on its external borders, the EU should be able to intervene in a member state which is unable to deal itself with the problems it encounters, or even if it does not feel that any additional measures should be taken on its borders.
