09/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - European Parliament postpones vote on 2016 work programme. On Thursday 9 July, the European Parliament decided to postpone, until September, its vote on the European Commission's work programme for 2016. The joint resolution proposal on this was the subject of an agreement just between the EPP and ALDE Groups. The objective of postponing the vote is to obtain a wider consensus in September on the priorities to retain. (LC)
