Brussels, 10/06/2015 (Agence Europe) - A key step was taken on Wednesday 10 June to boost the EU's credibility in the international climate talks when the European Parliament in Strasbourg gave its full support to the ratification on behalf of the EU of the Doha amendment on the second Kyoto Protocol commitment period (from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2020) and the joint implementation of the commitments this entails.
This is, of course, simply a formality, but it is highly symbolic...
