18/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - New Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). The European Commission recently approved the registration of three new products in the register for Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). These involve goat's cheese from the Netherlands 'Hollandse geitenkaas', for Italy 'Finocchiona' sausage and for Belgium, 'Vlaamse Laurier'. These names will be added to the list of more than 1,200 European Union level protected products. (LC)
