04/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - European Commission unveils Kosovo ASA. On 30 April, the European Commission unveiled a draft Association and Stabilisation Agreement (ASA) for Kosovo. The EU Council of Ministers and European Parliament now need to give their agreement with a view to the ASA coming into force in 2016 (see EUROPE 11257). Talks began on this ASA on 28 October 2013 (see EUROPE 10952) and drew to a close on 2 May 2014 (see EUROPE 11071). (CG)
