Cyber-attacks on big companies up 40% in 2014. The latest annual report from Symantec says that five out of six big companies around the world succumbed to a cyber-attack in 2014, up 40% in a year. Top of the list of the cyber-attacked companies is the United States with 20.7% of the attacks, well ahead of China (10.7%), India (4%), the Netherlands (3.6%) and Germany (3.3%).
