30/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - Germany approves motorway tolls. On Friday 27 March, German MPs passed a Bill introducing motorway tolls in the country from 2016. Last month, an EU experts' report asserted that this was discriminatory and therefore in contravention of European law. German motorists will effectively be able to recover some of the costs through tax breaks, something foreign motorists will not be able to do. (JC)
