Brussels, 24/02/2015 (Agence Europe) - The national representatives from the Competent Authorities for Medical Devices (CAMD) are meeting up on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 February in Riga in a meeting organised by the Latvian Presidency. The aim of the meeting is to improve the development of the European regulatory framework for medical devices and step up cooperation in this area, as a means of establishing a common understanding of the problems involved in this field. The representatives from the competent authorities in the EEA, EFTA and signatory countries of the association agreement with the EU (Turkey), as well as the European Commission are participating in the discussions.
