Brussels, 13/02/2015 (Agence Europe) - In order for a chemical substance to be controlled on the grounds of its possible use as a precursor for synthetic drugs and psychotropic substances, it must be included in the European regulations laying down the rules on trade supervision. The fact that a substance can easily be transformed into a precursor listed by the EU is not in itself enough to consider that substance a precursor with rules surrounding its use.
