Brussels, 29/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 29 January, the ECB called on the banks of the eurozone to be prudent when distributing dividends for the financial year 2014.
Banks which still have a deficit in own funds as identified during the 'stress tests' of 2014 should not distribute dividends. Those which are still not in line with the capital requirements applicable by 2019 may do so, as long as they maintain the trajectory laid down to comply with these requirements.
