Brussels, 28/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - A European Commission report published on Friday 23 January reveals that the total amount paid out in direct aid, 93% of which was decoupled, was €41.7 billion in 2013. This represents a rise of €778.2 million on 2012, largely as a result of increased aid in the twelve countries that joined the European Union in 2004 and 2007.
