Brussels, 09/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 9 December, the EU28 stressed the need to start working on legislation on patent boxes in 2015 to ensure that companies that take advantage of patent box tax benefits are doing genuine business to justify the special treatment. The Dutch have issued a reservation about the scope of the new rules, because they say it should cover innovation-linked research and development. The question will be settled by the OECD. (EL)
