Brussels, 22/10/2014 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has formed a preliminary view that the cooperation that began in 2010 between Honeywell International Inc. and E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company on the production of a new refrigerant for use in car air-conditioning systems (R-1234yf) may have limited the product's availability and technical development, in breach of EU antitrust rules. A statement of objections was sent to the two companies on Tuesday 21 October.
