Brussels, 10/09/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 10 September, at the end of a last-minute press conference, the French Finance Minister, Michel Sapin, announced that the French government had given up on trying to bring down the public deficit to the European limit of 3%, before the presidential elections of 2017. He added that he expected there to be an increase this year in the public deficit and not a fall.
