20/06/2014 (Agence Europe) - Court cancels part of General Court ruling in case (C-531/12) between the French commune of Millau and the European Commission. The Commission has finally been ordered to bear three quarters of the default interest accrued, as it took too long (12years) to initiate recovery procedures against the Société d'économie mixte d'équipement de l'Aveyron (SEMEA), which went into liquidation and was taken over by the commune of Millau.
