On Wednesday 18 June, Nigel Farage (UK) officially announced the reconstitution of the EFD Group at the European Parliament as the threshold of seven nationalities was reached. The UKIP mischief maker has brought on board the Lithuanian Order and Justice party (two MEPs) being eyed up by Marine Le Pen from France's Front National. Farage has also recovered a French MEP elected on the list of the Front National but put in difficulty by her party when she decided to leave it, keeping her seat as an MEP. Beppe Grillo's party in Italy brings Farage 17 MEPs, the Sweden Democrats two MEPs, the Czech Free Citizens' party one MEP and the Latvian Saeima party one MEP. (SP)
