Brussels, 18/06/2014 (Agence Europe) - The call for expressions of interest for the renewal of most of the scientific experts of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has been extended until 7 July, EFSA announced on Tuesday 17 June. This call was launched in April of this year to replace members of the scientific committee responsible for cross-cutting issues, such as the harmonisation of risk assessment approaches and new methodologies, and of eight of EFSA's ten specialist science groups (see EUROPE 11057).
