Brussels, 05/06/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 5 June, the G7 leaders called on Russia to take steps to de-escalate the situation in Ukraine, threatening new sanctions, if necessary. In a statement issued after the summit, the G7 says the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia and action to destabilise eastern Ukraine are unacceptable and must cease.
