Brussels, 30/05/2014 (Agence Europe) - Estonia is proposing its former prime minister Andrus Ansip become one of the new European commissioners. Ansip headed a period of austerity in Estonia in 2008-2009. His official candidacy was announced by the Estonian government in Tallinn on Thursday 29 May, AFP reports. (SP)
