On 8 May, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton announced the appointment of Joaquin Gonzalez-Ducay from Spain as the new head of the EU Delegation to Senegal. He currently holds this post in Guinea-Bissau. Meanwhile, Hidajet Biscevic from Croatia has been appointed as the head of the EU Delegation to Tajikistan. (CG)
