Brussels, 22/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday morning, the committee on civil liberties of the European Parliament gave the green light to the readmission agreement negotiated between the EU and Turkey. The agreement was signed in Istanbul on 16 December of last year with the former Turkish Home Affairs Minister, Muammer Güler, who has since been forced to step down due to the major corruption scandal which has shaken the Erdogan government.
