Farmers want to retain right to sell seeds

Brussels, 20/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 20 January, the European Coordination Via Campesina held a demonstration outside the European Parliament in Brussels to have farmers' rights to “keep, trade and sell their seeds” recognised. The farmers are also calling to be able to protect patents from genetic contamination (see EUROPE 10936).
