Brussels, 17/01/2014 (Agence Europe) - The trip for the delegation of MEPs from the European Parliament's S&D Group, which was due to visit the Sahrawi refugee camps this weekend, has been postponed. Led by the S&D Group's vice-chair, Véronique de Keyser (Belgium), this mission was due to assess the situation in the Sahrawi refugee camps on the Algerian side and was due to complement the mission of last June on the other side of the border in Laayoune - in full Sahrawi territory. When contacted, de Keyser said that the mission had just been postponed - due to the Algerian side having a very busy agenda. It was a decision taken by “common agreement”, she said. (FB/transl.fl)
