Loan of €90 million

Brussels, 20/12/2013 (Agence Europe) - On 19 December, the European Investment Bank signed an agreement with Tunisia for a loan of €90 million from the EIB for sustainable development projects.

The loan is in two sections: €50 million for economic and social development of Tunisian communities, and €40 million for decontaminating and rehabilitating a polluted area at Bizerte in northern Tunisia. In addition, €15 million from the Neighbourhood Investment Fund will go towards...
