10/12/2013 (Agence Europe) - A total of € 220 billion has been paid out in aid. The EFSF and ESM bailout funds for the eurozone have provided at total of €220 billion in aid since the sovereign debt crisis began in 2010. This is three times as much as the IMF paid out over the same period, explained the director general of the ESM, Klaus Regling, after a Eurogroup meeting on Monday 9 December. (MB/transl.fl)
